A short 26 miles from Charlevoix to Northport, where we will leave the boat for 3 weeks while we go home. The sun was shining and Lake Michigan was calm.Much to our delight, we discovered that our Looping friends Erin and Ron, from RUNNING ERINS, were also arriving today at this same marina! Last we saw them was in a small town in Canada where they were stranded, waiting for work to be done on their prop. Two prop shafts and one new prop later, here they are.
We walked up town and ate supper at The Garage. I never asked, but I think it had been used a garage at one time.
There was a large garage door that was up and opened that part of the restaurant up to the outdoors.
It was a beautiful night so we sat outside to eat. We had a great time catching up
