Meanwhile, back at the ranch……………….

The past four weeks (May 22nd-June 18th) have been spent at home in Minnesota. And it has been jammed packed with festivities. Starting with the graduation of our daughter from William Mitchell College of Law. Way to go Krista!!!!

We spent part of Memorial Weekend catching up with fellow J-Dockers at our home marina in Red Wing. Thanks everyone for the food and hospitality.

Our niece, Emily Pallansch, graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College. Congrats Emily!

Congrats to our nephew Jamie Hiner. He graduated from Kenyon/Wanamingo High School and is off to join is brother Evan at the U of M. Go Gophers!!!

I celebrated my birthday with friends. We went to a place in St. Paul that has equipment and instruction to make wine or brew beer. We chose to make wine and then had dinner at a nearby German restaurant. We return in 6 weeks to bottle it.

Much to the disdain of Hurley Hiner (the cat), John and Emily have an addition to their family. Her name is Penny and she weighs in at a massive 3 ½ pounds. Talk about cute!!

We also celebrated with the entire clinic staff at the wedding of Dr. Adam Shand and his bride, Annie.

In between all the fun, Ross worked at saving the world, one tooth at a time! We also tended the vegetable garden, the perennial gardens, and the corn crop.

Whew, good thing we’re headed back to the boat. We need to rest up.
