We left Albany this morning and traveled a short 10 miles up the Hudson to a town called Troy. It is the drop off spot for me as I will be flying home this afternoon to Minnesota for a few days. I couldn't convince either Roscoe or Foote to fill in as a guest blogger. But they promise to take pictures and write things down so I can enter it later. They will head up the Erie Canal without me.
This is the most amazing trip. I absolutely love going through the blogs and seeing all of the wonderful photos and descriptions. Nancy-you are a great writer and it makes it very enjoyable to follow your journey. I check in from time to time to catch up on your travels, but haven't commented. I just wanted to take a minute and say how much I have learned from your trip and it may help our family, as our girls get older, on what vacation spots we would like to hit.
